Across the Globe Children's Foundation (ATGCF) projects funded under our Special Projects initiative include those that support the social, medical, and emotional services for children who have been orphaned, are homeless, or who lack access to resources due to poverty. ATGCF has, through its sole source funding of partner programs, provided secure, safe homes for over 3,400 children throughout Latin American who are homeless, without families, or who have been abused. Many of these children arrive with emotional scars that, if not treated through the help of a psychologist, will inhibit their ability to thrive now and in the future and will follow them throughout their lifetime.
Our partnership with NPH International covered the cost to pay the fees of psychologists for the Rancho Santa Fe Honduran group home. Providing mental health services will help to ensure the psychological welfare of and improve future prospects for the resident children.
